Time's "Men of the Year"
This image was pilfered from the Drudge Report on 12/19/04, the day it was announced that George W. Putsch was Time Magazine's "Man of the Year" It's a bit of a mystery as to why Drudge would want to put George under the approving smiles of two men who considered George's granddaddy, Prescott, to be a war profiteer and a fascist sympathizer, but what makes this spectacularly silly is that the photo of the two WWII leaders was cropped from a famous picture taken at the Yalta Conference. Both leaders were "Man of the Year" in the past, of course. The third man, sitting where George has been stuck (along with a post-1965 Canadian flag) was ALSO a winner of the "Man of the Year" award: Josef Stalin. |
